Step 5: Cleaning and Sanitizing

Your walls, flooring, and ceiling will most likely require professional cleaning services. Even though water is what caused the damage, it does not necessarily mean it was clean. In addition to cleaning your property’s structure, we will clean your furniture, upholstery, clothing, and other restorable belongings damaged by the water. Often times during water damage we will have to complete a pack out of the affected areas so that work can be done to restore your home. When we pack out your home, we inventory your contents, document them with photographs, clean and dry them if necessary and store them in our secure climate-controlled building if necessary.

Most flooding and water damage also require professional odor removal and deodorization since wet materials have a very distinct odor. We can help with deodorization by setting ozone machines and cleaning your home after work is completed to ensure that we have made it "Like it never even happened." SERVPRO of Gresham & SERVPRO of Oregon City/Sandy has been helping customers like you for nearly 30 years.
